Grow Financial

Grow Financial Federal Credit Union approached our team with a problem. Their website was hard to maintain—the site’s outdated coding made it nearly impossible for Grow’s internal team to update it. The credit union was growing rapidly, and it needed a modern and consumer-friendly site that could grow at the speed of business.

The site needed to be templated for in a way that allowed for flexibly to handle content of different formats. But we all know templates can be restricting. It was important to build the site in a way that allowed it to be completely modular through a heavily modified version of WordPress.

This allows Grow’s team to swiftly build new pages by mixing and matching modules and selecting from a pool of content-ready modules we created. The result is a beautiful and easy-to-maintain site with a seamless UX experience consumers will appreciate.

The sitemap was created to help guide the best possible user experience, but also was a tool that allowed us to identify like content. Once pages with like content were identified, they were then broken into templates. From templates, content was then broken up into modules. These modules would allow the maximum amount of flexibility within the CMS.

Module System

Each template designed was broken into modules. These modules were decided based on the type of content. Modules could be customized based on the need of the page, allowing backgrounds, images, text and CTA’s to all change quickly within the CMS.

Digital Style Guide

To ensure that Grow could take their site and run with it, we built them a Digital Style Guide. This guide would allow them to easily and quickly add and use the established styles without having to start from scratch.

This library serves as a place where Grow can go and download assets to create new content, and to help their team stay within the established brand.
