HI. I’M LISSY ANGER… No, I’m not angry.

I recently relocated back to Michigan and specialize in UX/UI design. My passion is creating digital experiences that make the web a more enjoyable, user-friendly, and beautiful place to be.

My Background:

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University in 2005. While at MSU, I studied abroad in Rome and had the opportunity to attend the Cannes Advertising Festival as a student ambassador. In 2006, I was awarded a scholarship to return to Cannes—this time to study at the Roger Hatchuel Academy for Young Creatives. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I was lucky enough to experience twice.

From there, I went on to Miami Ad School in Minneapolis to earn a certification in Art Direction. That’s where I received the best (and toughest) lessons from incredible teachers and internships around the world. I spent a year learning from three standout agencies: McGarry Bowen in New York City, DDB in Chicago, and Jung von Matt in Hamburg, Germany.

I spent a lot of time in New York City, and in Florida but eventually made my way back to Michigan with my dog, Koda. Along the way, we’ve picked up all kinds of skills—from navigating city streets and subways to beekeeping hundreds of tiny bees. Plenty of twists, a few bee stings, and always another adventure is just around the corner.

Koda and I have learned that we prefer snow to hurricanes. These days, we spend our free time renovating our home and working in the garden. We couldn’t be happier to be here.
