Hi, I'm Lissy…

and no, I’m not angry…

I recently returned to Michigan, where I specialize in UX/UI design — creating digital experiences that make the web more intuitive, engaging, and human.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University, where I studied abroad in Rome and attended the Cannes Advertising Festival as a student ambassador. In 2006, I was awarded a scholarship to return to Cannes as part of the Roger Hatchuel Academy for Young Creatives — a rare opportunity I was fortunate enough to experience twice.

After MSU, I continued my education at Miami Ad School in Minneapolis, earning a certification in Art Direction. There, I learned from some of the best (and toughest) teachers and gained global experience through internships at McGarry Bowen in New York, DDB in Chicago, and Jung von Matt in Hamburg, Germany.

My career path took me through New York and Florida before bringing me back to Michigan with my dog, Koda. Along the way, I picked up plenty of unexpected skills — from navigating subways to keeping bees. These days, I’m happiest at home, spending free time renovating, gardening, and enjoying the seasons (we’ll take snow over hurricanes any day).
